FAMILY VACATION

So... this is a trip we have saved up for and waited for for a long time...
We got a new bus just for this trip so we could all travel together! it's SO great! there are comfy seats, a bathroom (VERY necessary for our family if we wanted to get there in less that 3 days) OH! and there is air conditioning!!! we haven't traveled with air conditioning in so many years! Hallelujah!

We left on July 17, early in the morning and stopped at the visitors center in Independence.
It was really cool to go back and be where the temple will soon be built.
We got to Bear Lake early Monday afternoon, unpacked then some of hte kids jumped in the lake and some tried to beat Dad at a game of tennis... I think we were all shocked that he smoked them all.

Sarah, our ever faithful driver :)

Our big new bus is so comfy!!!

We have some pretty creative sleepers!

Smiles all around

movie time in Bear Lake. We like to be cozy.

stolen phone again. I love you Fay and Laura!

Movie night in Tooele... all the kids wanted to watch the same movie, so they crammed in the older girls room.

We spent a few days in Tooele... Brian's Mom turned 90 and her biggest wish was to have all her family together. There were so many people! I can't believe almost everyone was there!
Friday night there was an open house and games. Saturday night we played games, ate dinner, played a giant game of volleyball, and thanks to Uncle Steve we watched a TON of fireworks! Sunday morning we all attended Sacrament meeting with Grammy. we had a blast!

Now we are back in Bear Lake for a few more days.

GO JOSHUA!

We rented sea-doos twice... it was great! Except... Jenai' listened to her Uncle Tim and threw me off on purpose... haha, it was still fun!

Anson and Joshua

Annie Laurie took several people on rides up the mountain... she even took Grandma and Grandpa. yikes! She did get stuck at the top for a little bit beacuse the rover overheated, She had David, Clarissa and Julianna with her. Guess who was freaking out the most??? David. I never would have guessed!

yummy roasted marshmallows and starbursts!

what would we do without a trampoline to entertain these little ones?

David is riding a 2 wheeled skateboard downhill WHILE spinning a basketball... I can't do either of those seperately!

The water has receeded quite a bit this year at the lake so there are so many shells!

Sadie, Laurie, Essie and Sarah having a great ride :)
Jenai' trying to dry off by burying herself in the warm shells
